Why not multiply every shot by the latest price?
Because earlier shots may have used another value. Five shots at two credits plus three at four cost 10 + 12 = 22 credits.
Does a visual hit mean the target was captured?
Not necessarily. Contact, recorded capture and credited award may occur separately; the result display and balance show the return.
Can a feature award leave the session at a loss?
Yes. In the example, 22 credits were spent and nine returned, so the net change is minus 13 credits.
